St. Maarten French Connection Power Catamaran

This well thought out speedy 27ft power catamaran was designed and built for the comfort of 10 guests. It gives a really comfortable ride, with plenty optional extended shade and ample seating. The owner takes great pride in the quality of service he provides, which includes huge freshly baked French baguettes and a fully stocked open premium bar.

This tour allows a great day of variety, with ½ day shopping, lunching & strolling in the delightful French village of Marigot, and half a day exploring St Maarten's beautiful waters and secret snorkel spots via boat. If you don’t want to share your idyllic paradise beach with 200 people arriving on huge catamarans, this is your choice.

The tour sets off from the sheltered Simpson Bay lagoon, the largest saltwater lagoon in the Caribbean, and home to multi million dollar Mega Yachts and homes of the stars. Then its out into the turquoise waters of the Caribbean and views of Marigot, and its hilltop fort.

The Capt. will take you to some truly magnificent hidden coves, not even known to many locals. Buda, the ship dog (pictured below) is great with kids and will guide you to those best anchorages.

The layout of this vessel is ideal for families and small groups, with easy access to the water for snorkeling and good boarding ladders, plus a stable platform to party and hang out onboard.

You can choose your own picnic spot including deserted beaches on Tintemar Island, where you can have a free spa treatment of cleansing volcanic mud, naturally.

For the other section of your day, after drop off in Marigot village, there is a wealth of superb shopping & dining options. Our tip is to head to one of the LoLo’s. These are tiny island restaurants serving traditional creole home cooking. “Rosemarys” is as authentic as it gets, and its right on the dockside in the village center.

Your driver will return to collect you from the village square at a time you arrange with him, to suit your schedule, and will have you back at the cruise terminal in plenty time.

The trip includes snorkel & fishing gear, and whether you want to swim, snorkel, fish, or stroll and shop, you will be delighted with this intimate and well put together boat tour.
